Studio Booking Instructions
When booking a session at the studio, please be
aware that there are Two Separate Rates:
- Studio Room Rate: The studio has its own rate for renting the room, which covers the use of the space and any included equipment. This rate is determined by the studio and is paid directly to them when you book the room. The studio's rate does not include engineering services.
- Engineering Rate: If you would like me to engineer your session, I have a separate rate for my services. This rate covers my time, expertise, and the use of my personal equipment and software, ensuring you get the best quality recording and mixing experience.
Engineer Fees can be made through Zelle/Paypal/Venmo
If booking a studio not listed here it is required that you book for the full day.
Here are the rates and policies for hiring Joseph Brooks as your engineer:
4-hours is the Minimum requirement to book this engineer.
- 4-Hour Session: $200 (paid in advance) is required to book a recording session at Red Velvet Studios LA.
- Additional Hours: $30 per hour for any time beyond the initial 4 hours.
- Cancellation Policy: If you cancel without at least 8 hours' from your scheduled appointment. A non-refundable $20 deposit will be deducted from your payment.
- Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule, your payment will be held, and we can arrange a new session time that works for both parties.

No-Show/No-Call Policy: If you do not show up for your session and do not call to inform us, you will lose half of your payment. The remaining amount will be automatically refunded.
- Music Production/Beat Creation fee is separate from the Recording fee and is due up front before the start of production.
These policies provide flexibility and ensure that your time in the studio is well-planned and productive.
